Zed has enhanced its coding platform by integrating OpenAI Codex and Claude Code, allowing for in-editor coding assistance and real-time multi-file edits. The software has also launched a native version for Windows, featuring DirectX support and AI capabilities. Additionally, Zed has transitioned to a token billing model, reduced its Pro subscription price, and introduced new AI models, including GPT-5 variants.
