Google DeepMind posted on X that it is rolling out three new Gemini models to make AI agents “faster, smarter, and cheaper at scale.” The lineup includes Gemini 3.6 Flash, Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite, and Gemini 3.5 Flash Cyber, alongside a promo card reading “Introducing Gemini 3.6 Flash, 3.5 Flash-Lite, and 3.5 Flash Cyber.”
The company describes Gemini 3.6 Flash as using fewer tokens than 3.5 Flash “to deliver higher quality work at the exact same cost.” Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite is positioned as a “fast, cost-effective” option for everyday tasks such as document processing and agentic search, while Gemini 3.5 Flash Cyber is billed as a cybersecurity model built to find and patch critical software vulnerabilities. Google DeepMind also states that Gemini 3.6 Flash and 3.5 Flash-Lite are rolling out now in the Gemini App, with developer access available through the API in Google AI Studio and Android Studio. Gemini 3.5 Flash Cyber is slated for CodeMender as part of a limited-access pilot.
