Superpowers 5.1.0 was released on May 4, with a set of platform and workflow changes that mainly focus on cleanup and compatibility. The post lists a reworking of git worktrees now that Claude Code and Codex have "first-class support" for them, along with the removal of deprecated slash commands that date back to Superpowers’ earliest period.
The release also switches the "code reviewer" subagent into a regular subagent with a custom prompt, which the post says reduces the platform footprint and eliminates the need for special subagent types. Other listed updates include a more efficient OpenCode integration, new support for Factory Droid, cleanups to Subagent Driven Development and Code Review, and the removal of older boilerplate text from skills that reportedly did not improve outcomes.
The latest version is available on GitHub.
