OpenAI Developers introduced the Decisions API, a limited-preview service powered by GPT-6 Luna that lets developers define questions and possible answers for app-driven decisions.

According to the company, the API can classify content, route requests, or select an agent’s next action. It accepts text or images as context, allowing an application to provide material such as a support request alongside a list of possible destination teams. The API then returns a selection for the application to use.

Access is currently limited to selected API customers for testing. OpenAI Developers claims that a broader release is planned “in the coming days.”
